Navigating the Classroom Cosmos: My Microteaching Odyssey on Problem Solving and Newton's Laws
Stepping into the role of both a student and a teacher, I embarked on a unique journey within the walls of the classroom. As a part of my B.Ed. program at Mar Theophilus Traning College, I had the opportunity to delve into microteaching, an enlightening exercise that allowed me to share my passion for problem solving and Newton's Laws of motion with my fellow learners. This adventure turned out to be a profound learning experience, one that allowed me to explore the cosmos of teaching while navigating the intricacies of physics.
The topic I chose for my microteaching session was Newton's Laws of motion, a cornerstone of classical mechanics. However, instead of sticking to a conventional lecture, I decided to integrate problem solving as a key element. After all, the essence of understanding physics lies in unraveling its complexities through practical application. Armed with a handful of intriguing problems that ranged from everyday scenarios to mind-bending challenges, I ventured into the classroom with excitement and trepidation.
